Cig-Arrete Frame Sensor (CSA-FUV)

The Cig-Arrête Flame Sensor is at the heart of the system. Continually analysing the environment for a source of flame
from a match or lighter, the sensor provides an alarm if a naked flame is detected. The CSA-FUV is capable of detecting
a 25mm flame at a distance of 6 metres within 1 second. The CSA-FUV is manufactured from tough brilliant white GRP
plastic

Cig-Arrete Smoke Sensor (CSA-SGA)

The Cig-Arrete Sensor is at the heart of the system. Continually analysing the environment, the sensor checks each
sample against an intelligent database to decide if an alarm condition has occurred. The CSA-SGA is manufactured from
tough brilliant white GRP plastic. Please note a maximum of 5 sensors can be connected to a controller.

The unit comprises an integral Cig-Arrete Flame detector and voice sounder module, which provides a voice message
when a lighter or match is detected. "This is a no smoking area, please extinguish your cigarette, a member of
staff has been contacted" Battery operated using 4 x AA alkaline batteries, the CSA-FDV can be simply screwed to
the ceiling and is capable of detecting a 25mm flame at a distance of 6 metres within 1 second.

SpeechPOD Passive Voice Module (SPK-POD)

The speechPOD provides a revolutionary new medium for helping staff and visitors comply with Health & Safety
Requirements. Using an onboard motion sensor, the SpeechPOD can provide a clear voice message to remind staff; for
example; that special clothing/eye or ear protection/ must be worn in a certain area. Other examples for the SpeechPOD
are on entry to public buildings that are defined as no smoking, help to alert partially sighted persons to special risks.

The controller provides an audible and visual warning if any detector units sense tobacco smoke. The controller
facilitates up to 5 detectors with 1 zone per detector. Powered by 4 x D type alkaline batteries or by mains via any of the
power supply units (please check mains voltage when ordering) the controller is situated in a supervised area so that
alarm indications are only shown to supervisors and not to smokers in the protected area.

This module is designed only for use with the Cig-Arrete Stand Alone Module (CSA-GDV). The module allows connection
from the CSA-GDV to external equipment via a volt free contact. In addition it allows the CSA-GDV to be locally powered,
or be connected to a Cig-Arrête Controller Unit

Cig-Arrete Volt-free relay (CSA-VFR)

The Cig-Arrete volt free relay card provides an interface from the normal 6 Vdc / 3 mA auxiliary output of the Cig-Arrete
controller (Part no CSA-S5B or CSA-S5BAR) to other external equipment.

Cig-Arrete system Kit (CSA-KIT)

The Cig-Arrete Kit comprises 3 Cig-Arrete detectors, 1 controller, 1 detector test gas and 1 anti-tamper screwdriver. The
system is installed using an 8 core security type cable (not supplied) and will require 4 x D type alkaline batteries. (not
supplied) Alternatively, the whole system can be powered using a plug in power supply (UK only) part number CSA-PSU.

Cig-Arrete Voice Alarm Sounder (CSA-VAS)

A new addition to the Cig-Arrete Anti-Smoking Alarm range, the Voice Alarm Sounder provides for the first time,
application specific alarm annunciation in languages defined by the customer. The CSA-VAS can only be used with the
correct power supply unit (CSA-246 or CSA-110).

Cig-Arrete Sounder Beacon (CSA-CSB)

The Cig-Arrete Combined Sounder Beacon provides both a visual and audible indication that an alarm has been
generated by the Cig-Arrete System. Used in conjunction with the CSA-246 or CSA-110 power supply units.

Cig-Arrete Battery Sounder Beacon (CSA-CSBB)

The Battery operated sounder Beacon is powered by 2 x PP3 batteries and is used as an external indicator for the
Cig-Arrete Master/Slave System where the whole system may be powered by alkaline batteries.

Cig-Arrete Remote Alarm Indicator (CSA-RAI24)

The Cig-Arrete RAI24 is designed to operate only in conjunction with Cig-Arrete power supplies (part no CSA-246 or
CSA110). The aux output of the controller is connected to the alarm input of the power supply in order to switch the
24Vdc output on in alarm condition. Manufactured from brilliant white plastic, the aesthetic housing provides an excellent
acoustic chamber to provide tone outputs in noisy areas.

The Cig-Arrete Remote Alarm Indicator is designed to operate directly from the auxiliary output of the controller.
Irrespective of the power supply to the system, the aux output provides a 5Vdc output (max 3mA) which is then used to
provide a high output tone via the CSA-RAI for remote location signalling. Manufactured from brilliant white plastic, the
aesthetic housing provides an excellent acoustic chamber to provide tone outputs in noisy areas.
